Its taken on last year May, The seed will remain in the tree for one year! The tree has the last year's dried seeds till now. may be within few weeks it will flower again.. The flowers attarct a huge numbe of butterflies,bees and other insects and so lizards also!

    I am sure about the ID here. Mitragyna parvifolia has smaller inflorescence and smaller leaves compared to Neolamarkia cadamba. Also the inflorescence in N. cadamba is more yellowish. Also the timing of flowering is the key here. Mitragyna parvifolia flowers in April-May while Neolamarkia cadamba flowers in the rainy season post July.
